The movie is about the inspiring journey of a young boy Murad(Ranveer Singh) who lives in Dharavi and aspires to be an rap artiste. The journey isn’t easy, with only his passion & perseverance at help he marches ahead to achieve his musical dream & succeeds too. Inspired from and based on the real life struggle and success of street rap artists turned internet sensations Divine & Naezy, this musical extravaganza is a viewer’s delight. Director Zoya Akhtar does a fantastic job and deserves even more praise for the error free perfectly scripted screenplay (along with Reema Kagti).
